FAQ's:

Q: How far away are the ski resorts?
A: By car, 10 minutes to Snow Basin, 20 minutes to Powder Mountain.

Q: Do we need a vehicle and if so do we need 4X4?
A: The Ogden Valley is very rural and a vehicle is necessary to get to and from the resorts and your evening meals. Four-wheel drive is advised during winter months, especially if you are going to the ski resorts.

Q: Are there telephones in the rooms? Internet access? Fax availability?
A: There are no telephones in the rooms. Wireless internet is available downstairs in the lounge. The county library (5 blocks away) has free internet access along with inexpensive fax machines.

Q: Are there kitchen privileges at the chalet?
A: Our kitchen is private and unavailable to guests. Your room rate includes breakfast. After breakfast guests are requested to eat at local eating establishments for lunch and dinners.  Take-out foods (pizza etc) may be enjoyed in our dining room (no cooking). There is a mini-fridge in your room and guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages.

Q: Is there a concierge desk at the chalet?
A: "Sorry, Gone Skiing" However, I make It a point to be available every morning at breakfast and again in the early evening to be sure guests are comfortable, know where to find dinner or help them plan for their next day.

Q: Is there a curfew at the chalet?
A: If you must ask? Rent a condo. We play hard and sleep well. Our billiard table is closed at 10pm.
