About the Atomic Chalet
Hi, I am Wes, your chief cook and bottle washer at Atomic Chalet. My wife Keri works for Utah Schools for the Blind. When she is not busy with that she enjoys skiing, gardening, bicycling and sleeping.
Because of its unspoiled beauty and idyllic ski conditions, Huntsville and the Ogden Valley have become our home. The inspiration for our Bed and Breakfast comes from the European Alps, in particular the ambiance of small Italian Pensioni.
The east wing was built specifically for guests. Outside is rustic and funky while inside is clean and contemporary. We opened our doors in 1999 in time to host the Mens US Olympic Ski Team for 2001 World Cup and 2002 Olympic races at Snowbasin (what a thrill).
For more than 20 years now we have enjoyed providing a casual and relaxed environment for guests and we take pride in constantly making thoughtful improvements to enhance your visit. We invite you to come and make memories in the Ogden Valley.
